What this output is

An acknowledgment report is a per-document-version summary of every person who completed a read-and-understood acknowledgment. It captures the full name, email, acknowledgment timestamp, and quiz score (if applicable) for each person, alongside the document number, title, and version they acknowledged. Think of it as the answer to the question: who signed off on this revision?

When your team uses it

Pull this report when preparing for an internal or external audit, when an auditor asks for evidence that a specific SOP revision was read by the required people, or when you need to verify training completion before a milestone like a design review or product release. It is also useful during CAPA investigations to confirm whether affected personnel had been trained on the relevant procedure.

What it proves to an auditor

This report proves that specific individuals acknowledged a specific document revision at a specific time. When a quiz is included, it also proves they demonstrated comprehension above the passing threshold. Together, this provides the objective evidence of training effectiveness that ISO 13485 clause 6.2 and FDA QMSR Subpart D expect.
